Kim Young-Kwan

Kim Young-Kwan was born in Chung-Ju in 1985 and received his Bachelor's Degree from the Polymer Science & Engineering Department at Chung-Ju National University in 2008. Since 2008 he has been working in the field of applied chemistry under the supervision of Professor Min Dal-Hee. He currently has a position in Natural Science Building where his research interests are focusing on the synthesis, surface modification, and, biological applications of nanomaterials such as carbon nanotubes, graphemes, porous gold nanoparticles, rods and films. He is currently involved in developing a novel cell patterning method by a combination of self-assembled monolayers and MALDI-Tof-MS. polymer@kaist.ac.kr
