Lim Seongyoon

*
Lim Seongyoon received a Bachelors Degree in textile and polymer engineering from Hanyang University, Seoul, in 2004 and Masters Degree in chemical and biomolecular engineering from the Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology [KAIST] in 2007. As a Ph. D. candidate, he is working at the Advanced Biomaterials Laboratory in the Department of Material Science and Engineering at the same institution. He has been working on the immobilization of PNAs (peptide nucleic acids) on glass substrate for a biochip, which can indicate the immobilization itself by the generation of fluorescence. His current research interest is in developing a sol-gel materials-based biosensor that can detect the pesticide remnant in the soil or water by enzymatic reaction. seeyoonlim@kaist.ac.kr
