Park Gihyun was born in Chungsong, Korea and grew up there. He entered Chungnam National University in Daejeon in 2002 and received a Bachelor of Science Degree from the same University in 2008. He is currently a graduate student in the Department of Biological Science at the Korea Advanced Institute of Science & Technology and interested in cell signaling pathways in fruit fly model systems. He works in KAIST's Molecular Genetic Laboratory. achun83@kaist.ac.kr
