Hyunsoo Kim graduated from Gyeonggi Science High School winning the Samsung Electronics Special Award and entered the Korea Advanced Institute of Science & Technology [KAIST] with a full scholarship from KOSEF in 2003. She studied chemistry as her major at KAIST and participated in Internship Program at Samsung Semiconductor and won a scholarship from the Chemistry Department in 2006. She has also studied at Georgia Institute of Technology(GIT) engaging in the KAIST-GIT exchange student program with a full scholarship from KAIST during the fall semester. She was awarded a Bachelor’s Degree from the Chemistry Department of KAIST summa cum laude in 2007 and is continuing to study chemistry as a graduate student. She is a member of the Young Leader’s Club and also the Korean Chemical Society (KCS). She won a full scholarship from KAIST and has joined in the Center of Functional Nanomaterials: a group of nation honor scientists. She is interested in the fabrication of metal nanoparticles and catalytic reactions with nanomaterials. hyuns1108@msn.com
