Choi Hojoong

*
Hojoong Choi is Ph.D candidate in the Department of Electrical Engineering at the Korea Advanced Institute of Science & Technology [KAIST] associated with the Electromagnetic Wave Lab. He is also a senior engineer at Samsung Electronics Corp. which offers full tuition scholarship for him. From 1999 to 2007 he was engaged in HDD (Hard Disk Drive) interconnect design using EMC(Electromagnetic Compatibility) and SI(Signal Integrity). He is currently primarily interested in the study of electromagnetic wave scattering, diffraction and radiation, especially by using the 'Fourier' transform and mode matching techniques. His current research is in developing field representation inside rectangular structure with slot when external electric or magnetic field is excited. The research aims to investigate and improve field immunity around rectangular structures by controlling the slot size and position. hojoong.choi@kaist.ac.kr
