Ryu Jungki was born in 1981 and is currently a Ph.D. candidate in the Department of Materials Science and Engineering at KAIST. He got his Bachelor’s Degree in 2006 from Yonsei University and his Master’s Degree in 2007 from KAIST, both in Materials Science and Engineering. During his Master’s course - due to its interdisciplinary nature - he studied the self-assembly of peptides into nanostructures both at the Advanced Biomaterials Laboratory [ABL] within KAIST and the BioNanotechnology Research Center within the Korea Research Institute of Bioscience and Biotechnology [KRIBB]. He is now pursuing a Ph.D. Degree under supervision of Prof. Chan Beum Park within the ABL.
