Seungwoo Maeng graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial & Information Design and a Master’s Degree in Culture-Media Design from Handong Global University, Pohang, Korea. He is currently a PhD candidate at the Human Centered Interaction Design [HCIDL] Laboratory in the Department of Industrial Design at the Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology [KAIST], Deajeon, Korea. His research interest is user experience in real user’s context and emotion. During his Master’s course, he was part of numerous projects as a project manager and researcher with companies like Samsung Electronics, LG Electronics and the Korean Ministry of Information and Communication. In his PhD course, he has published a journal paper about product emotion and usability as a participant of the International Symposium for Emotion and Sensibility. maengoon@kaist.ac.krcl2
