Kim Minjoong

Kim Min Joong is a graduate student in the Industrial Design Department at the Korea Advanced Institute of Science & Technology [KAIST] and a researcher in the Product & Environment System Design Research Laboratory of the same institute. He gained a Bachelor’s Degree from Yonsei University in 2007 with a major in Architectural Engineering and a minor in Human Focused Environmental Design. He has working experience for the MOTO Design and MI Design companies as an intern and a designer in 2006 and 2008. He won the IF Design Award in 2008 with an hydraulic breaker for Susan Industry and the 2nd prize in the Student Design Competition in the ACMIEEE International Conference on Human-Robot Interaction in Amsterdam in 2008. He also won the 3rd prize at the Korean Intellectual Property Office Design Competition in 2006. He has involved a U-space design project sponsored by KIUSS because of his interest in both the architecture and design fields. As a member of the Korean Institute of Spatial Design, he published a conference paper on environmental design. minjoung7@hotmail.com
